Why am I writing this Stream Direct Tv Review ? Well, When I was thinking about buying Stream Direct TV, There weren’t many honest review’s by real people so i thought I would write one to help any of you who who are looking to find out more about it.

But be warned! This is an honest review ill be going into both the good and bad points.

On my search to find the right software for streaming TV online I decided to try out Stream Direct TV it boasted a choice of 4500 channels! So I gave it a try.

When you make the purchase you are assigned a username and password (which is just random letters and numbers for both! not the easiest to remember!) you gain access to the members area, Here there are many links but most of them just seem there to fill the are with offers and links to site like YouTube, Hulu ect (yeah like I cant find them).

Its when you take a closer look you find the goodies in here a whole load of Bonus Software they give you with your purchase. From Internet security to CD burning software to dvr recording software its all here and made the purchase in my mind worth the money already.

So down to the software, I downloaded and clicked install and was quite surprised a few recommended players and codecs installed straight away, If anybody has ever had to search around the right codec to get a video to work you will appreciate this. Installation finished and a quick restart of the pc later and I had a nice shiny new icon on the desktop to click!

As soon as you open the Stream Direct TV programme it brings up an updater for the channels list that ensures your list is always up to date with the latest channels which is a nice feature to have. So I jumped right into to see what channels there are and boy this is a big list! A lot of the channels I clicked on worked just fine but there where the odd few that didn’t work (it might be the time of the day).

Some really nice features Stream Direct TV include the ability to pause and record which come in real handy if you’re watching at work or while multi tasking, Also a really nice feature is the ability to add your channels to a favourites list it just a load of time trying to find the ones you like.

All in all Streaming TV online has come so far in the past few years and this is as good as is gets!
